19 Weeks!

19 Week Update!

How far along: 19 weeks! She is the size of an heirloom tomato. Our ultrasound tech said she weighed about 9 ounces. It is crazy to me that we are almost half way there and she doesn't even weigh a pound. You've got a long way to go baby girl!
Sleep: Sleep is great, thanks to my snoogle.
Symptoms: Lots of acid reflux, from pretty much everything! I also expierenced my first bout of round ligament pain!
Food Cravings: Tenley must really like Mexican food! I've had it twice this week, the first time she moved for me right when I finished eating. I feel like she will enjoy food just as much as her Momma does.
Gender: Definitely a girl! She had no problem showing her stuff on the ultrasound. We laughed and Mark looked scared;)

Name: Tenley Hope Arnett

Movement: It seems like she mostly moves at night between 7-9. Sometimes I still wonder if that's really her, but I know it is! I did get a pretty good "thump" the other day so I'm wondering if that was a solid kick. Poor Mark is so anxious to feel his daughter move for the first time!
Best Pregnancy Moment: Seeing her on the ultrasound was amazing! She really wiggled around for us.
Kaylan's shower was so much fun! We have just a few more weeks before baby Jase's arrival! When I left I leaned down and told him to hang out for a few more weeks, but that we couldn't wait to meet him!
What I Miss: I would really like a cup of coffee in the mornings. I started day shift this week and need that pick-me-up. Maybe I'll invest in some decaf and pretend!

What I'm Looking Forward To: More consistent movement and for Mark to feel her for the first time!
This is from Kaylan's shower! How cute is she!??

18 Weeks!

18 Week Update!
How far along: 18 weeks, I completely missed the 17 week update, it has been busy at the Arnett house! Our sweet girl is about the size of a bell pepper! As far as weight gain goes, last week I was finally back up to my original weight! BUT, I feel like I've doubled in size since last week, so I'm sure that number is up. We will find out Wednesday!
Sleep: Sleep was horrible this week. Right up until the other night when the hubs broke down and bought me a maternity pillow. We went with the Snoogle by Leachco. It is wonderful! I slept a full 9 hours Saturday night and felt very well rested. I joke about Mark being reluctant to buy the pillow, but in all honestly he would do anything to make sure I'm comfortable. He really didn't mind at all! I did find it funny when I caught him snoozing on it a couple times this weekend!

Symptoms: Just a little trouble sleeping!

Food Cravings: Guacamole or Mexican food in general, and sushi! (The cooked kind of course!)
Gender: It is a girl! We are so excited about all things pink!!

Name: Her name is Tenley Hope! We wanted something different, and it is a bit of a tradition that she had a T somewhere in her name. Mark's middle name is Thomas, I'm not sure if it is fate or coincidence that he fits right in with the family! We went with Hope for the middle because she has truly been our hope since the day we found out about her.
Movement: I'm pretty sure this is a yes! It is still very sporadic and barely noticeable. I feel it mostly at night around 8-9.

Best Pregnancy Moment: Celebrating Marks "kinda" Fathers Day! And of course my dad too!
What I Miss: Nothing really! I feel like I'm in that honeymoon stage people talk about!
What I'm Looking Forward To: Our sweet friend Kaylan's baby shower is this weekend! I can't wait to shower her and Jace with lots of love and presents! I can't wait to meet the little guy, and I pray he and Tenley will be the best of friends!
AND! We have Tenley's anatomy scan on Wednesday! I'm so excited to see our sweet girl!

Oh, and here is a two week difference side by side:)

16 Weeks, It's a GIRL!

How far along: 16 weeks, baby is the size of an avocado!
Sleep: Sleep is still pretty good.

Symptoms: I did get sick once this week, but other than that I think the nausea has really slowed down! I notice if I do a lot of walking, my back will start to really bother me. I think maybe is the sciatica nerve? I try really hard to listen to my body and not over do it.

Food Cravings: Guacamole, shrimp, and sushi! (The cooked kind of course!)

Name: We might have a name:) Still deciding on when and how to tell.

Movement: I really think I have felt her a couple times! After the gender scan we stopped for lunch. I had a fried pickle and as soon as I ate it I felt like I could feel little bubbles coming to the surface and popping in one part of my stomach. It lasted about 10 seconds. So if it was her its not much, but I'll take what I can get! I can't wait to feel those strong kicks and rolls!

Gender: Its a precious baby girl! I was so surprised to see that pink cake! We are so ecstatic we have a princess on the way. I started crying when I realized we are having a girl! That was the first time I've cried throughout this whole pregnancy! I guess knowing her gender makes it all a little more real!

Best Pregnancy Moment: Seeing her on the ultrasound! She wiggled around for us, stretched her legs, and gave a big yawn! My mom, Mark's mom, and my sister came with us, and I think it was really special for them too!

What I Miss: Nothing really! I feel like I'm in that honeymoon stage people talk about!

What I'm Looking Forward To: More movement!

Here's a couple pictures from our gender reveal party!
