15 Weeks!

15 Week Update

How far along: 15 weeks, baby is the size of an apple!

Sleep: Sleep is pretty good! Still having some really crazy dreams! 

Symptoms: I feel like the nausea has really let up some this week! Still having some heart burn. Also, my gums hurt and according to the updates I get on my phone, I'm right on track with 15 weeks symptoms! My face looked awful at the beginning of the week. I've always had really clear skin (even during puberty) so the break outs are new for me! 

Food Cravings: Margarita grill makes table-side guacamole and  I wanted some so bad I dreamed about it! Megan and I went for girls night Friday and it was soo good! I also indulged in a few orange push-pops this week too! 

Name: Just "Nugget" for now.

Gender:  We still think boy! But we will know this time next week. I can't express to you how excited I am! More than anything I just want to see him/her. We haven't had an ultrasound since the first one. I hope this week will go by as fast as last did!

Movement: I don’t think so…there have been a couple times I have wondered though.

Best Pregnancy Moment: I don't know if I had a specific "moment" it was just all around a good week. I got to spend the whole day with Mark on Sunday. We went to church and Buffalo Wild Wings (Mark's pregnancy craving!) and spent the rest of the day at Megan and Deke's. We hit the subdivision pool...wearing a bikini at 4 months pregnant..maybe the not-so-great pregnancy moment. I'm only wearing a bikini because a tankini won't fit for long, and maternity swim suits seem to big. 

What I Miss:   Anyone who knows me, knows I'm a worry wort. So I'm constantly worried about what I'm doing, eating, if this or that is safe. I'm not sure this will change once the baby gets here..it will probably be worse!

What I'm Looking Forward To: Gender scan. Need I say more?

This is my "please take a serious picture" face!!!" 

But I really do love this guy more than words could ever say. He's been amazing through out the last couple months, I know there have been times when I've been hard to deal with. But he's always by my side, and I never doubt for a second his love for me and our baby!

13 Weeks!

13 Week Update!

How far along: 13 weeks! Nugget is the size of a peach!

Sleep: Sleep is pretty good, getting up 2 or 3 times to use the bathroom. I wake up with a lot of aches and pains but I think that is more from the old mattress we are sleeping on. Hopefully we will remedy that soon!

The dreams are crazy. I had some weird dreams before, but this stuff is so bizarre. They are very vivid and I wake up confused.

Symptoms: I really think the nausea is trying to go away which makes me so happy! Lots of heart burn, so maybe our little one will have lots of hair! 

Food Cravings: Sushi. Mark took me to Sumo's on Sunday night and I indulged in a couple "cooked" rolls. It was delicious.

Name: Just "Nugget" for now.

Gender: Still feeling strong boy feelings. I have had 4 dreams that this baby is a boy. If it is a girl, well she sure will surprise her momma and daddy!

Movement: Not for a few more weeks! I think I'm more excited about movement than gender reveal!

Best Pregnancy Moment: Mother's day was yesterday. I have no idea if it counts at my "first" Mothers Day or not. But we celebrated all the important ladies in our life, then Mark took me to dinner and a movie as a gift to me. He also got me a beautiful Willow Tree Angel that looks like this, and I am so in love with it. It was the perfect gift. His mom also got me the same angel (unknowingly) and I think it is cute they know me so well!

What I Miss: I miss eating whatever I want and fast food. Anything greasy makes me sick so I've been avoiding some of my favorite quick stop places. 

What I'm Looking Forward To: We have an appointment on Monday, I'll be 14 weeks. I have no idea what this appointment will entail. I'm hoping for a peak at our little one. I feel like it is very possible my husband may strong arm them into an ultrasound!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Oh, and this time next year? Next Mother's Day? We will have a 6 month old. Whoah.

12 Week Update!

How far along: 12 weeks! Our little babe is the size of a lime! That seems huge considering the first update I got, he/she was the size of an apple seed!

Sleep: I sleep as often as possible! I'm slowly gaining my energy back! I still get really tired if we have a busy day, and I'm usually beat by the end of my 12 hour shift.

Symptoms: Still dealing with some nausea but it is definitely getting better! Lots of heartburn and acid reflux! Oh, and I smell everything!

Food Cravings: The only thing that sounds appetizing is cereal. I really don't have much of an appetite. I eat a couple small meals a day and by "meal" I mean a bowl of cereal or a yogurt. I'm still not back up to my pre-pregnancy weight, but I'm sure the pounds will be coming soon!

Name: Just "Nugget" for now. Our family has picked up the nickname and I think that is the cutest thing!

Gender: Mark and I have felt strongly it was a boy since the beginning. The general consensus among friends and family is that it's a girl! Either way we just want a healthy baby!

Movement: Not for a few more weeks!

Best Pregnancy Moment: My mom read to me constantly when she was pregnant with me. I have to attribute that for my love of reading. We were at their house a few weekends ago when she grabbed my favorite Dr. Seuss book (one that was mine many years ago) and read Nugget "Are You My Mother?" It was so sweet and special, I hope our sweet baby enjoys reading as much and me and his/her grandma does!

What I Miss: Sushi and raw oysters!

What I'm Looking Forward To: Or next appointment is in a few weeks and I really hope we get to see our little one!
